Cancellation of Elisa's services and subscriptions

Here we have gathered some instructions on cancellations for various Elisa's services and subscriptions. Cancelling most contracts and services can be done in OmaElisa. The notice period is 14 days.

 

Phone and mobile broadband subscriptions and their additional services

Cancelling a mobile subscription

  1. Log in to OmaElisa using your Elisa Tunnus (OmaElisa username).
  2. On the left, click on the subscription you want to cancel (or to which the additional services you want to cancel are connected to).
  3. In the boxes at the top of the page, click on the Agreement box.
  4. Under the subscription to be cancelled, click Terminate an agreement or an additional service.

You can also cancel a mobile subscription by contacting our customer service or visiting an Elisa store (FI).

Note that it is not possible to retain the number of a subscription after cancellation. Before cancelling a subscription we recommend that you check whether there is a better subscription for you in our selection (FI). You can change Elisa Saunalahti subscription type free of charge every six months.

Cancelling additional services

You can cancel many Elisa Saunalahti phone subscription additional services, such as mobile broadband, text message packages, balance services, the AlleEuronPäivät additional service or the voicemail services in OmaElisa. The cancellation of these additional services is done by following the instructions above.

If you cannot cross the agreement you wish to terminate off the list, then it is not possible to cancel the agreement using the web self service. In this case, contact our customer service.

Broadband subscriptions and additional services

  1. Log in to OmaElisa using your Elisa Tunnus (OmaElisa username).
  2. On the left, click on the subscription you want to cancel (or to which the additional services you want to cancel are connected to).
  3. Click on the Contract terms and prices section.
  4. Under the subscription to be cancelled, click Terminate the agreement.

You can also cancel a broadband subscription by contacting our customer service or visiting an Elisa store (FI).

Note that when you move house we can set up a new broadband connection for you in your new address!

If the subscription you are cancelling is a fixed term agreement, we will invoice you for the monthly amounts due, as per the agreement, until the end of the fixed term.

Additional services for broadband subscriptions, such as email inboxes, stop functioning when the subscription is cancelled. If you wish, you can retain your additional services by contacting our customer service before cancelling the subscription.

Elisa Viihde, Elisa Viihde app, pay TV channel packages and programme libraries

Cancelling Elisa Viihde (with a set top box)

  1. Log in to OmaElisa using your Elisa Tunnus (OmaElisa username).
  2. On the left, click on the subscription you want to cancel.
  3. In the sections below, click Terms and Conditions.
  4. Under the subscription to be cancelled, click Terminate the agreement.

You can also cancel Elisa Viihde by contacting our customer service or visiting an Elisa store (FI).

Note that we can transfer Elisa Viihde to your new address for free when you move house.

If the subscription you are cancelling is a fixed term agreement, we will invoice you for the monthly amounts due, as per the agreement, until the end of the fixed term. If we cannot connect a broadband subscription to your new address when you move house, you can cancel the subscription with a two-week notice period. 

Cancelling Elisa Viihde app (phone/tablet)

You can cancel the Elisa Viihde app and programme libraries (e.g. Aitio, HBO Nordic, SF Kids) at elisaviihde.fi/maksukanavat (FI).

Cancelling Elisa Viihde channel packages and programme libraries

You can cancel the channel packages and programme libraries that are part of Elisa Viihde by visiting elisaviihde.fi/maksukanavat (FI).

Elisa Cable TV: Elisa Kanavakortti pay-TV card and pay-TV channels

You can cancel Elisa Kanavakortti pay-TV channel packages by going to elisaviihde.fi (FI).

  1. Log in using your Elisa Tunnus (OmaElisa username), Elisa Viihde ID and password, or Mobile certificate at elisaviihde.fi/maksukanavat
  2. Click on Lopeta tilaus (cancel subscription) next to the pay-TV channel package you want to cancel and then click Vahvista lopetus (confirm cancellation).
  3. If the channel package is not fixed-term, the subscription will be cancelled at the end of the day in question.

Elisa Kanavakortti card itself can be cancelled by contacting our customer service.

Elisa Pilvilinna, Elisa Turvapaketti, Spotify Premium, SquareTrade, Elisa Mobiilivarmenne, Elisa Perhe, Elisa Salasanapankki, Freedome VPN

  • You can cancel Elisa Pilvilinna, Elisa Turvapaketti, Elisa Sanasalapankki, Freedome VPN and Spotify Premium in OmaElisa.
  • On the left menu, choose service or product and after that click Contract terms and prices --> Terminate the agreement.
  • SquareTrade service can be cancelled in OmaElisa's Devices-page.
  • Elisa Mobile Authentication will stop working automatically when the subscription for which it was activated is cancelled.
  • You can also cancel Elisa Mobile Authentication or Elisa Perhe service by contacting our customer service or visiting an Elisa shop (FI).

Elisa Kirja monthly subscription

You can cancel your Elisa Kirja monthly subscription at any time through the Elisa Kirja service.

  1. Sign in to your profile page in the service at kirja.elisa.fi/profiili.
  2. Note that the Elisa Kirja username and password may differ from those you use for logging in to OmaElisa.
  3. Select the Elisa Kirja Kuukausitilaus (monthly subscription) and click Peruuta tilaus (cancel subscription).
  4. Any credits you may have on your account will be deleted from the account 30 days after your order has been cancelled.
